Noble Energy – Leviathan Project

GATE Energy provided full commissioning and start-up services offshore Israel. Due to various project engineering and construction delays on the Noble Energy Leviathan project, GATE was tasked with compressing seven months of onshore commissioning into only three months. GATE was able to quickly increase resources and personnel to mitigate a schedule impact and Leviathan topside left the fabrication yard one hundred percent commissioning complete for onshore scope. This greatly reduced the amount of potential offshore carry-over work and facilitated a successful offshore campaign to deliver the facility for initial start-up on time.

The Noble Energy Leviathan facility was a greenfield project developed as subsea production system connecting high-rate subsea gas wells to a fixed platform with a capacity of 2,100 MMSCFD located in the TAMA 37H block approximately 10 km offshore Dor, Israel.
