GATE Energy CEO and Founder Named One of Houston Business Journal’s Most Admired CEO’s in 2018

CEO and Founder of GATE Energy, Grant Gibson, has been named one of Houston Business Journal’s Most Admired CEO’s in 2018. The Houston Business Journal launched the new award to honor the Houston business leaders who are most admired in the community. A panel of judges named 35 for-profit leaders and 13 nonprofit leaders to receive the award and the inaugural class was announced on July 19.

Karthik Annadorai, EVP of GATE Energy said, “This is a testament to Grant’s perseverance in doing it right the first time by building a servant leadership culture with employees and their development in mind.  We are pleased for Grant to receive this award and proud to have him as our leader.”

When asked what Grant’s leadership philosophy is, Grant remarked, “We focus on servant leadership at GATE Energy and building that culture. It permeates through the organization with having a respectful place to work, empowerment, and people development.”

The 48 individuals were recognized in a special edition of Houston Business Journal August 24 issue and at a luncheon on August 23.
