Nitrogen Membrane Unit
Product Description
The compressed air stream passes through an air cooler and an optional air dryer and enters the NMU (Nitrogen Membrane Unit). The air passes through a series of filters which remove liquid droplets and oil aerosols. The air stream then flows through a heater to elevate the temperature, the warm air flows through a hydrocarbon removal filter to remove remaining contaminants from the feed air stream. The clean air stream then flows through a final dust filter designed to prevent particulate matter from being entrained into the membrane modules.
