GATE Energy Awarded Juniper GTL Plant Commissioning Scope
Houston, TX: GATE Energy is pleased to announce that it has been selected by Juniper Specialty Products as the provider for commissioning for the Juniper Gas-To-Liquids (GTL) plant, a 1,100 bpd facility in Westlake, Louisiana. The associated scope includes commissioning planning and execution for both Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the project.
Steven Guy, President of Commissioning, said, “This award confirms that GATE’s Commissioning group is the industry leader in commissioning services. To have been selected as a premier partner with Juniper establishes our position as a trusted partner that shares the vision of our Clients.”
The GTL plant in Westlake, Louisiana, is on track to launch Juniper Specialty Products as the first U.S. manufacturer of fully refined Fischer-Tropsch waxes, offering their specialty products directly to North American wax customers.
The plant is expected to convert natural gas into ultra-high quality, pure paraffinic waxes used in a wide range of applications in adhesives, coatings, construction materials and consumer goods. The plant will also produce zero-sulfur light and middle distillates for use in the US transportation and chemicals industries.
