Barrett Broussard
Business Development
Over Mr. Broussard’s lengthy tenure with BlueFin, he has uniquely positioned himself as a solutions provider in our multiple market spaces. While at BlueFin, he has had held multiple roles - from work in the field to laboratory and office liaising and between business, operational, and technical areas of the business. These attributes have provided the foundation for his success in being an effective solutions provider in the industry for over a decade.
He has been a pioneer for a number of innovative industry technologies, including pipeline remediation, and gel pig development and its subsequent widespread adoption for use in onshore and offshore pipelines. Considering all aspects of an asset’s life cycle, managing expectations for a specific project and what its impact might mean to other parties, before, during and post-project is paramount when customers look to BlueFin for value. His work history of project management and technical support needs throughout the various facets of the oil and gas industry value chain gives him that perspective.
His career began as a project coordinator intern for FMC Technologies on the Agbami project supporting top project team members in scheduling, estimating, and reporting. He later worked for EXXI as a member of a project’s procurement team creating and maintaining AFE’s and LOE’s for the offshore construction group.
