Bruce is a chemical and materials engineering specialist with over 40 years in the energy industry. He has worked for Shell Development and Shell Offshore in the materials and corrosion specialty and has spent the last 25 years working as a project and process consultant for both onshore and offshore developments ranging in size from a single well or vessel upgrades to many of the biggest offshore projects in the world. He has been active in both project (design) and asset (operation) support for large and small projects, ranging from single wellhead/flowline projects to some of the deepest and largest floating facilities in the industry. He has worked for Project Associates, EDG, GATE Energy, and now Viking, specializing in materials selection, risk assessment, hazards analysis, and asset integrity management.
