Lee Jordan, Ph.D.

Dr. Lee Jordan joined GATE in 2002, after having worked in the integrity management and cathodic protection field in Europe and the Middle East after obtaining degrees in mechanical engineering, corrosion science and engineering, and civil engineering. In the years since, he has leveraged his diverse engineering background in a variety of roles, including corrosion engineering and asset integrity management, water injection system design and operation, and scaling and souring prediction and management. 

In addition to his technical career progression, he has also previously served as GATE’s Engineering Manager, Operations Manager, and Chief Operations Officer. His strengths include the ability to design fit-for-purpose solutions to technical and operational challenges; the development of programs to operationalize their monitoring, management, and continual improvement; and delivery of effective communication, training, and mentoring strategies that ensure their long-term success. 

Dr. Lee Jordan is one of the longest-serving members of the GATE family and has extensive experience in various aspects of how to deliver value to our clients by strongly focusing on quality, safety, staff development, and maintaining the servant leadership culture within our organization. 

His goals are to support our clients to maximize the value of their existing portfolios and take on new opportunities including carbon capture, hydrogen, and renewable energy sources including offshore wind, solar and geothermal.
