The integration of GATE’s engineering division marks a significant step in Viking’s history as our breadth of expertise, which was mostly focused on oil and gas wells, now expands to surface facilities, production operations and new energy projects.

George E. King, an industry expert and well engineering advisor for Viking Engineering, will be speaking at this year's 2021 SPE Summit on Casing Deformation During Fracturing of Unconventional Wells.

King will be discussing the possible causes and consequences, specifically wellbore re-entry, lost production, compromised well integrity and operational limits, and lost asset value.
