It is with great pleasure that we can formally announce a new member to the BlueFin team, Mr. Gary Zunkel.

Mr. Zunkel is formerly the Senior Engineer of Pipeline Integrity for Lake Superior Consulting. Gary has been involved in the oil and gas industry for more than 30 years, with the last 12 years focusing on pipeline integrity management.

Local businessman Beau Beaullieu said he knew BlueFin Group President David “Ducky” Pugh was looking for an outreach project for his company, so he put Pugh in touch with Iberia Parish School Superintendent Carey Laviolette, which got the ball rolling.

BlueFin is proud to announce our new team member James Bracken. Mr. Bracken joins our Completions team with 29 years of oil and gas service industry experience.

BlueFin is proud to announce our new team member Jason P. Broussard. Mr. Broussard joins our Pipeline & Process team with 13 years of oil and gas service industry experience. His tenure and previous roles directly intersect BlueFin’s current Pipeline & Process service offerings, which include produced water treatment and filtration, well flowback, and design engineering, to name a few.

Recently, one of BlueFin’s tenured employees lost his mother to cancer. While the battle for Tamie Lopez’s life did not claim victory over cancer, her endurance to help others is still being felt. Not long after Tamie passed away her daughter received donated blood after giving birth to a new child – blood that would not have been there without the help of volunteer blood donors like you.

Gulf of Mexico pipeline decommissioning activities have no return on investment for offshore operators. Technical approaches to execution drive current operators to embrace new applications that can minimize the project’s budget and schedule in a safe manner. This need is particularly valuable during our current economy where operators are initiating cost saving measures in regard to the full life-cycle of production assets.

BlueFin field technicians have witnessed an increased work capacity in 2015 and QTR1 in 2016 for pipeline operators and contractors on various integrity-related scopes of work.
