GATE Energy is providing early commissioning planning services as project is pre-FID.
GATE Energy provided full commissioning and start-up services for facility offshore Gulf of Mexico. Yard commissioning work completed in South Korea.
GATE Energy provided full commissioning and start-up services for facility offshore Gulf of Mexico. Work performed in Singapore and US. Full commissioning services including systems completion utilizing Omega PIMs. Yard phase commissioning in Singapore.
GATE Energy was responsible for pre-commissioning, commissioning, regulatory testing and vendor management for all Topsides systems of the King’s Quay FPU, both in South Korea and the United States / Gulf of Mexico. Viking, the engineering arm of GATE Energy, was contracted to assist with the development of the topsides standard operating procedures (SOPs).
GATE Energy provided umbilical commissioning planning and execution for subsea tieback to Bullwinkle facility offshore Gulf of Mexico.
GATE Energy provided full commissioning and start-up services offshore Israel. Due to various project engineering and construction delays on the Noble Energy Leviathan project, GATE was tasked with compressing seven months of onshore commissioning into only three months. GATE was able to quickly increase resources and personnel to mitigate a schedule impact and Leviathan topside left the fabrication yard one hundred percent commissioning complete for onshore scope. This greatly reduced the amount of potential offshore carry-over work and facilitated a successful offshore campaign to deliver the facility for initial start-up on time.
GATE Energy provided full commissioning and start-up services for subsea tieback offshore Gulf of Mexico. Provided subsea systems completion and umbilical commissioning planning services for subsea tieback offshore.
GATE Energy provided full commissioning and start-up services for subsea tieback offshore Gulf of Mexico.
GATE Energy provided full commissioning and start-up services offshore Gulf of Mexico. GATE provided full systems completion and commissioning services and played a key role in safely delivering the Delta House FPS and achieving first oil just three years after discovery was made by LLOG Exploration.
GATE Energy provided full commissioning and start-up services for tieback to Tarantula facility in Gulf of Mexico. Provided umbilical commissioning planning and execution for subsea tieback to Tarantula facility offshore.
Commissioning provided offshore commissioning and start-up support for subsea tieback offshore Gulf of Mexico.
GATE Energy provided commissioning services for control system hardware replacement on Constitution facility offshore Gulf of Mexico.
GATE Energy provided full commissioning and start-up services for tieback to Lucius facility offshore Gulf of Mexico. Provided umbilical commissioning planning and execution for subsea tieback to Lucius.
GATE Energy provided full commissioning and start-up services for first ever Amine Unit on a floating facility offshore Gulf of Mexico
GATE Energy provided turnkey full commissioning, systems completion and start-up services for facility offshore GoM. Provided umbilical commissioning planning and execution for facility offshore Gulf of Mexico.
GATE partnered with Anadarko to execute full systems completion and commissioning services on the Lucius and Heidelberg Spars. Anadarko employed a “design one, build two” philosophy in development of these new-build, greenfield facilities. Though the Lucius project was a success in its own right, the extensive implementation of project lessons learned and carry-over of personnel led to GATE safely and successfully delivering the Heidelberg project three months ahead of schedule and significantly under budget.

BlueFin’s pipeline cleaning solutions deliver crucial benefits to current systems—upstream, midstream, and downstream.
The EelReel tool is an extended reach solution to clean plugged flowlines and pipelines.
ElastiPig is a highly malleable, elastomer-solid pig that exerts minimal outwards pressure when transitioning flowlines. It creates 100% surface area contact with the pipe wall, providing excellent sealing capabilities. ElastiPigs are useful when used alone or in combination with mechanical pigs, pipeline gels and/or chemicals.
LiquiGel® pigs are reliable and superior alternatives for pipeline and process operators. Our “unstickable” pig gel technology demonstrates safe performance when measured against pipeline integrity concerns, or where multi-diameter, barriers to entry and exit, and multi-stage pigging challenges exists.
The BlueDog, utilizes a controlled jetting technique, allowing blasting action to penetrate the entire circumference of the internal pipe wall. This eliminates the bulldozing effect that often results in sticking of mechanical pigs.
Extended Reach Lancing (E.R.L.S.) is BlueFin’s trademarked mechanical approach to solving prolific deposit and blockage challenges in pipeline and process systems. This mechanical approach combines high-pressure, heat, and chemical injection into one feasible procedure for operators experiencing obstructed flowline riser systems, production equipment, overboard water piping, and JTube systems, to name a few.
Decommissioning operations have become highly regulated needs for oil and gas operators. While the rate of execution is fast-paced and schedule dependent, the return on investment lacks value for the operators incurring the economic risks.
